What was the CU like when you joined?
It was a one-room office at the time and you could drop in any time of the day.
Why did you join the credit union as opposed to a bank or another financial institution?
George Hawkes had called a meeting and was interested in starting a credit union.
The only two banks in the area were Bank of America and Security Pacific. I did not want to bank with them, so I joined MFCU. It was very convenient for me, being on campus.
Why have you stayed with MCCU for so many years?
I stayed with the credit union because you keep my money straight. Your record really speaks for itself, being the number one credit union in the Valley. I also like the convenience of the credit union, and your rates and service. I even got my grandson to join, so now there are three generations of my family banking with you.
