American
Express Travelers Cheques-
MCCU offers a choice of styles:
- Individual
(standard) checks, accepted
worldwide.
- "Cheques
for Two," ideal
when two people are traveling
together. Either party may
sign.
Order
foreign currency -
Yes, you can order many foreign
currencies from MCCU! Just
come to either office, tell
us what you need, fill out
a request and we'll order it
for you! The currency will
be shipped directly to your
home or office.
Not
all currencies are available,
so please check with us before you

Medallion
Signature Guarantee-
When you need to prove that
your signature is valid… for
example, on certain legal documents… this
service guarantees it.
Notary
Service-
MCCU offers notary service
when you need it to complete
a Credit Union or other financial
transactions. Please
call for an appointment.
Wire
Transfers -
MCCU members frequently ask
to send or receive funds via
wire transfers. Here's what
you need to know to arrange
this service:
Receiving a wire: Your wire will be posted as soon as it is received.
Call us for specific wiring instructions.
Sending
a wire: The funds in your MCCU
account must be available and
not on hold in order to send
a wire. For current wire fees,
please call the credit union.
You will need to provide:
- Your
name, account number, the dollar
amount of the wire, and a phone
number where we can reach you
if we have questions.
- The
receiving bank information
- the bank's name, and ABA
number (for US Banks). Additional
information is required for
international wires.
- Your
name and account number at
the receiving financial institution.
You must have an account with
the receiving financial institution.
For international wires, the
address of the receiver also
is required.
IMPORTANT:
Additional information is required
if you need to send an international
wire, a real estate transaction
wire or other specialized wire.
