blonde girl holding credit card with apple pay android pay and samsung pay logos to the left of h erAs more businesses start opening up, we will more than likely need to learn “the new normal” when it comes to shopping.

Whether you prefer to shop online, or want to “kick the tires” at a brick and mortar store, the easiest way to make a safer, contactless payment is with your mobile phone using Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, or Android Pay.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends using contactless payments to help prevent the Covid-19 virus from spreading. Cash is king for some, but with this pandemic, the WHO advises consumers to stay away from cash as the virus can stay on the cash for days after exposure. If you do use cash, be sure to thoroughly wash your hands after touching it.

You can easily set up your MCCU debit and credit card for these contactless payment services. Find out how to set them up here.

So when you are shopping look for the Apple/Samsung/Android Pay logos and use your phone to pay. No need to use cash or reach for your debit or credit card.

If you haven’t added your MCCU debit or credit card yet, add it today for easy, safe contactless payments.
